About Us

Roof Doctors is a full service Roofing and General Contractor company which specializes in dealing with insurance claims.

Co-owner, Lars Christensen is a certified Roofing (CCC1326620) and Certified General Contractor (CCC1515093). He also specializes in dealing with insurance adjusters and has a great rapport with many independent adjusters throughout Texas, Southern Florida and Ohio.

Co-owner, Joseph Gardi specializes in negotiating with insurance companies to make sure that homeowners receive a fair settlement. He partners with the homeowner to walk them through the insurance process step by step and is there to offer advice and answer questions every step of the way.

Lars and Joe met while working their way through school at Ohio State. They both worked in construction and sold roofing/siding/windows to pay for school. When they graduated they both started separate home improvement companies. After a major hail storm hit Columbus, Ohio they merged their companies together and perfected the insurance claim service they are known for throughout Ohio, Florida and Texas-Roof Doctors.

At Roof Doctors, we not only focus on the job of constructing a quality roof for you, but we are also insurance claims specialists. This means that we get involved with a homeowner when they initially contact their insurance company and on the homeowner’s behalf, we will negotiate with the insurance company to get a fair settlement. We have much experience in dealing with insurance companies and know the proper protocol needed to get your claim approved. We have relationships with two structural engineers who will further evaluate your roof if needed. Furthermore, Roof Doctors utilizes state-of-the-art software to maximize your insurance claim.
• The fact that we are State Licensed Roofing and General Contractors means we are licensed to complete all phases of repair/restoration. Water leaks often lead to rotten wood, which may include structural elements like trusses. These are outside the scope of a Roofing contractor and require a General Contractor’s license-which we have.
• We will coordinate all additional services such as painting, drywall, tile flooring, and kitchen and bath remodeling.
• We pull all permits and coordinate all required inspections so that the homeowners don’t have to get involved in this process.
• We have an “A” rating with the Better Business Bureau.
